COMMUNITY IS AGELESS

2024 ANNUAL APPEAL

The Senior Citizens Council

has been a grassroots organization

within the communities of Tuckahoe and Bronxville, in Westchester County, New York since 1970.

Our philosophy is based on the premise that aging is a normal developmental process and that seniors need peers with whom they can interact to avoid isolation and loneliness.

The Senior Citizens Council is the parent organization of Tuckahoe Senior Citizens, established in 1970, and Bronxville Senior Citizens, established in 1974.

Our work is effective and far-reaching: we provide important support and community for seniors who may not have contact or connection beyond their homes.

Senior Citizens Council is a 501(c)(3)

nonprofit organization led by volunteers.

We are funded by grants, annual events and fundraisers.
